Born and raised in Australia, Simone is based in London.

She holds two BA degrees, one in Visual Arts & English Literature from Monash University and a second in Fine Art (1:1) from London Metropolitan University. She attended a MFA at Goldsmiths and graduated with a MA in Art Education, Culture and Practice (distinction) from the Institute of Education, UCL. She also holds a PGCert (distinction) and is a FHEA.

Since 2018 she has taught on the foundation course at London Metropolitan University.

Simone’s artworks combine sculpture and poetry. They frequently play on the conflicted utility of language within a university-based art school. Other common themes include interconnections, tension, and hope.
